I teach from home in the Hanover area of Brighton, and have a dedicated drum room. I teach and practice on a Pearl Rhythm Traveller 5 piece mesh head drumkit, (20" bass drum, 13" snare, 10"/12"/14" toms), hihats, ride, 2 crashes, a choice of single pedals, a Yamaha double pedal (or bring your own?).

UPDATE: Since this photo was taken, I now have two full kits permanently set up, which greatly assists my teaching, and enables the student to remain at the kit for the whole lesson, without me going "Excuse me, let me just show you... gerroff!".
 

• I have a full high quality hifi set up, which enables the student to play along to music (very wide ranging and constantly growing selection).

 
• I have an Alesis HR16  drum machine rigged up which serves as a metronome and click track, as well as showing students how to do drum programming if they wish (it’s good for a drummer to know how to).

 
• I also have a very large assortment of hand percussion. Knowing a little can really spice up a recording or gig.

 
• I stock a wide range of teas, coffees and fruit juices, and maybe the odd biscuit...
